Don’t get it confused with the Ugyonan Festival celebrated every first of May at E.B. Magalona. The Ugyonan Seafood Festival is held every second weekend of December.
Now on its third year this 2018, the Ugyonan Seafood Festival is set on December 7-9, 2018.
Activities such as the Lights-on Ceremony is on December 7, 2018, 6:00 pm in front of the Municipal Hall and is followed by the 2-day Eat-All-You-Can on December 8-9, 2018 starting at 6:00 pm up to 8:00 pm only at Agustina Barrera Street.
The famous blue crab locally called as “kasag” is one of the dishes to be served at the eat-all-you-can.
The festival aims to promote the blue crabs and other kinds of seafood such as shrimps, squid and oysters that are abundant in the coastal waters of the municipality.
There are also fishponds that produce fresh fishes for the town.
You will get to enjoy the eat-all-you-can for a limited day and time only for a very reasonable price.

How to Get There
From Manila, you can fly to Bacolod (Php3500++, round trip, 45 minutes). From Bacolod-Silay Airport, you can take a shuttle, or a cab (minimum of Php400) and ask to be dropped off at your destination or at the North Bus Terminal.
E.B. Magalona is only a 25-minute drive from Bacolod City by private car or 30 minutes by public utility vehicle plying northern Negros.
